Anne Jäger-Annear – Associate Producer and Production Manager

Anne Jäger-Annear worked with ProductionShed.TV for four years as Production Manager and Associate Producer.

Anne worked closely with Yvonne Mackay on a number of productions from development and creation to delivery and sales and especially looked after the business side of the company. Anne has also worked on various independent productions outside of ProductionShed.TV.

Being of German descent, Anne is equipped with strict time management and organisational skills which help her keep everyone in-line at the Sheds.

David Paul – Director Of Photography:

David Paul has worked extensively as a cameraman and director of photography; from documentaries and dramas, to shorts, commercials and music videos. His CV includes Qantas award winning work on Until Proven Innocent, as well as three Qantas best camera nominations for his DOP work on The Insiders Guide to Happiness, The Insiders Guide to Love and The Hothouse.

David has shot over 40 documentaries to date, including the critically acclaimed Long Lost Sons, The Time of Our Lives andUndercover. In recent years, David has worked on several feature-length projects, including Home by Christmas, Show of Handsand Second Hand Wedding. Hi work with Production Shed.TV includes filming A Tall, Long-Faced Tale, DOP on Kaitangata Twitch and also on the TVNZ Artsville documentary Painting with Light: Brian Brake Rediscovered. Paul enjoys all genres of film making and his most recent work apart from StoryTree includes shooting the features Kiwi Flyer and The Cure plus the teenage romantic comedy drama Girl vs. Boy.

 

Nic McGowan – Sound Designer:

Nic has worked with Yvonne Mackay for many years including doing the sound design on A Tall Long Faced Tale doing doing the sound design on the 70 minute documentary about Margaret Mahy.

Nic has achieved critical acclaim for his work as a music producer and engineer. Owner and curator of Island Bay Studios in Wellington, NZ, he has worked with many NZ artists on album projects and in live performances. Nic was a finalist in the 2004 New Zealand Music Awards for producer of the year. He was the recordist and sound designer of Taika Waititi’s Academy Award-nominated short film Two Cars, One Night, Michael Bennett’s Kerosene Creek, and NZ festival favourite The Man in the Hat. In 2004, Nic recorded, co-directed and composed for Radio NZ drama The Outsiders which won the NZ 2004 best radio drama award. Nic has recorded and designed sound for numerous television series’, film and web media projects. Recent public work includes acclaimed multimedia theatre show Instructions for Modern Living, and infamous urban conceptual installation The Synth Birds of Dawn.

 

Paul Sutorius – Editor

Paul Sutorius brings many years of experience as editor to the table and his range of experience spreads across features, television, current affairs, documentary and many more. Paul has been a finalist for 1 craft award and 14 editing award, winning Best Film Editing for Gaylene Preston’s Ruby and Rata in 1990, Best Documentary editing twice, in 2000 with Getting to Our Place, and again in 2006 with Aspiring and Best Drama Editing for Until Proven Innocent. Paul has worked with Yvonne Mackay for many years recently editing her documentary A Tall Long Faced Tale about Margaret Mahy and the 13 part drama series, Kaitangata Twitch.
